What You'll Do- Provide mechanical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects
- Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time
- Take lead on small to medium size engineering design projects and support larger projects
- Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teams
- Be a supporting figure and mentor for lesser experienced engineers
- Build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities (desirable)
- Represent and promote the business with the local and regional markets
- Hold a recognized tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrated expertise in designing mechanical services systems (air conditioning, heating, and ventilation)
- Ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines, including Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, and Environmentally Sustainable Design
- Proven project experience in the building services sector across a range of large projects
- Working knowledge of Australian building codes and standards
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry
- Demonstrate a history of effectively managing competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines
