About The Role

Canberra Grammar School is seeking beginner and experienced coaches who are committed to developing students in their chosen sport. The role of a Co-curricular Sports Coach is to instruct students on fundamental skills and foster player development within a fun, inclusive and safe environment. We are seeking expressions of interest from coaches interested in coaching the following summer sports : Badminton, Cricket, Dragon Boats, Rowing, Touch, Water Polo and Swimming.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following :

  • Engaging and enthusiastic coaching style with effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with various levels of abilities across various age groups
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective training sessions
  • Two professional references

All team members at CGS are required to have :

Appropriate qualifications (including First Aid)A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People CardA current National Police Check; andFull working rights within Australia.
