Graduate at Law role at Hazelbrook Legal involves working on complex corporate matters within a supportive, high-performing team in Canberra.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working across corporate contracting, IP and data privacy, commercial litigation, funds (private equity and venture capital), financial services and regulatory, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Engaging with high-profile clients and significant transactions regularly featured in the AFR.
  • Having direct client contact and building deep client relationships and networks.
  • Assisting the team on a variety of corporate matters from the beginning.
  • Participating in complex and market-leading legal matters.
About You

What you'll need:

  • Recent law graduate or approximately 1 year of legal experience.
  • Strong technical skills and passion for high-quality, demanding work with sophisticated clients.
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of client drivers and business environments.
  • Excellent social skills and attitude to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Residency.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary package of $85,000 – $95,000.
