Overview

City of Ryde is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to shape the future of our organisation. This role supports the customer-focused approach of the P&C team and partners with the business to drive strategic and operational people matters as City of Ryde grows.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert People & Culture partnering across the organisation, guiding ER/IR matters and the full employee lifecycle.
  • Lead change management initiatives and participate in system projects to enhance interaction with the business.
  • Partner with business units to translate vision and mission into people strategies and outcomes.
About You

You will be influential in realising City of Ryde's values and empowering our people. You will bring a hands-on P&C partnering approach, provide expert guidance to optimise people outcomes, and ideally have experience in Government or a complex organisational structure, operating autonomously to drive outcomes.

  • Superior communication and negotiation skills with experience interpreting Awards and legislative provisions for key stakeholders.
  • Experience with a Human Resources Information Management System such as ICHRIS.
  • Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary People & Culture practices and exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Salary and Benefits

Commencing annual salary range: $107,213.58 to $118,619.28 + Superannuation, dependent on experience and qualifications.

  • Flexibility in start/finish times, 35-hour weeks with one RDO every 3 weeks
