Overview

A leading corporate and commercial law firm in Sydney is seeking a lawyer with 2–6 years post-admission experience to join their Environment and Planning team.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of planning and environmental law matters, including:

  • Class 1 merit appeals
  • Class 3 compulsory acquisition matters
  • Class 4 judicial review proceedings
  • Planning agreements
  • Due diligence for land acquisition and development projects
Key Responsibilities
  • Appear in court for various proceedings
  • Conduct legal research and draft advice
  • Prepare and file court documents
  • Liaise with counsel and experts
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver comprehensive legal services
About You
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach
