Senior Associate - Construction & Infrastructure

The role: We are currently looking for a Senior Associate to join our Construction & Infrastructure team in our Perth office. This role will see you working across risk based advice in construction procurement and contracts, to back-end construction litigation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution used in construction disputes. In this role you will be an integral part of an extremely busy but also close knit team working with an industry leading Partner.

Responsibilities

The role involves providing risk-based advice in construction procurement and contracts, and handling back-end construction litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution in construction matters. You will be an integral part of a busy, close-knit team and will work with an industry leading Partner.

Qualifications
  • Have at least 5-7+ years' PAE working across construction law matters or in a well-regarded litigation practice
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Practical and client focused problem solving and research skills
  • Sound technical legal ability and a genuine interest in working in the construction and infrastructure sector
  • A professional, commercially-astute and proactive approach to matter management
  • Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously
  • Conscientious and client-focused, and possess strong interpersonal skills
