Overview

Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical fitting and field service work on heavy vehicles and plant equipment as required.
  • Conduct fault-finding and breakdown support to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Travel to sites as needed and work collaboratively with the team to maintain safety and Zero Harm standards.
What You'll Need
  • Trade qualification — Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic
  • Forklift Licence (required) | MR/HR Truck Licence (preferred)
  • Proven experience with heavy equipment, trucks & diesel engines
  • Strong hydraulic and auto-electrical knowledge (advantageous)
  • Excellent fault-finding and breakdown support skills
  • Willingness to travel and perform field service work
  • Familiarity with asphalt and earthmoving equipment (e.g. stabilisers, skid steers, loaders, pavers, spray trucks)
  • A team-first attitude and commitment to Zero Harm
  • Flexibility for day and night shifts (night shift preferred)
