Program Manager, Digitisation - Australia

Neara is a high-growth technology company backed by leading venture capital and private equity investors. Neara has developed a software platform that builds sophisticated, engineering-grade 3D digital models of critical infrastructure, delivered as a software-as-a-service. Initially focused on modelling electricity grids, Neara is expanding into other infrastructure verticals such as telecommunications and rail. The platform supports the entire asset life cycle from design and construction to operation and resilience.


We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our digital twin quality assurance operations in the digitisation group, with a primary focus on managing offshore contractor teams responsible for QA work. You will ensure the last mile of quality and that the digital twins are fit for purpose. You will work closely with engineering to build workflows that drive quality and speed, use data to create transparency, and influence improvements in ML/AI systems powering digital twin creation. This role requires problem solving across end-to-end digitisation and QA processes.


Travel to Bangalore, India will be required approximately 2-4 times per year.


What Will You Do
  • Contractor Management: Own contractor QA process, set expectations, deliverables, and performance metrics; conduct regular performance reviews; ensure knowledge transfer and training when new workflows are rolled out; manage onboarding, access provisioning, and security compliance.
  • Quality: Design and implement QA frameworks for digital twin model validation; establish standardised processes and measure their effectiveness; create automated processes to keep data valid, trustworthy and accessible for the organisation.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineering to drive feature improvements and smooth rollouts with fast rollback if needed; coordinate with project managers to meet QA needs and set clear expectations; work across different business cultures.

Who You Are
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technical programs
  • Enjoy engaging with data and forming bottom-up assessments to identify edge cases and quality deficiencies
  • Comfortable using internal tooling, SQL, spreadsheets, and building repeatable processes with strong judgment
  • Adaptable to projects in varying domains and complexities, able to reason about systems and processes beyond core expertise
  • Action-oriented and curious, often a power user of software and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to bridge teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally; regular travel to Bangalore, India expected (approx. 2-4 times per year)
