Overview

Locum Occupational Therapist - community role at Manual Music. Immediate start (ASAP) until 30th November. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday. Join a team of 20 clinicians in Mackay, Queensland. Travel reimbursement and accommodation support available.

Responsibilities
  • Community-based occupational therapy services covering a range of clinical conditions and complexity.
  • Target population: adults, including frail aged, and carers of these consumers.
  • Deliver services via a trans-disciplinary team (medical, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work, psychology, speech pathology, dietetics, specialist continence, healthcare assistants, and personal care workers).
  • Focus areas include specialised and intensive rehabilitation, low-intensity rehabilitation, maintenance, and basic support.
Qualifications
  • Experience in community health, home visits, aged care services, rehabilitation, and neurological caseloads is desirable but not essential.
  • Driver's license required.
Benefits & Details
  • Locum rates up to $72 per hour plus superannuation.
  • Cost of travel (airfare for 1 adult in economy to Mackay) capped at $350 each way or equivalent fuel reimbursement to Mackay, capped at $200.
  • Shared accommodation provided or $200 per week accommodation allowance.
