Overview

Kirinari Healthy Ageing has a fantastic opportunity for you to secure employment in Tea Gardens, NSW. We are seeking suitably qualified/experienced or entry-level Domestic Assistants to join our dynamic team. Kirinari Healthy Ageing is a well-regarded "My Aged Care" and "Home Care" services organisation that provides high levels of customer service in NSW and Victoria. About The Position

Our Healthy Ageing services deliver quality in-home care supporting customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible. A typical day may include:

  • Domestic assistance / basic home cleaning and tidying
  • Assisted shopping / client appointments
  • Respite care
  • Meal preparation
  • Social support and community engagement

Hours are generally Monday to Friday between 7am–7pm and can include weekends and public holidays as required. Shifts will be shorter in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (Kilometres travelled between customers can be claimed.)

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home domestic assistance and domestic care
  • Support clients to maintain independence and well-being
  • Assist with shopping, appointments, meal preparation, and social activities
  • Offer respite care in accordance with client care plans
  • Engage with clients to enhance community connection and wellbeing
Qualifications
  • Studying or completed a minimum Certificate III in a health-related industry is highly regarded, though not mandatory (e.g., Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement
  • Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
  • Full comprehensive car insurance, or willingness to obtain
  • Smartphone
  • Current Driver's Licence
Requirements & Application
  • You must have the right to live and work in Australia
