About the role

Evolve Speech Pathology and Allied Services is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in Greater Geelong, the Bellarine and Surf Coast. This is a contractor position, providing you with the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments.

What you will be doing:

Assessing and diagnosing communication and swallowing disorders in an adult client population

Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans to support clients in achieving their goals

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care

Providing education and support to clients, families and caregivers

Maintaining accurate client records and contributing to the ongoing development of our services

Providing services to NDIS, Aged Care, and privately funded clients

Working in the community with clients in their homes, workplaces and broader community

What we're looking for:

Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia

Demonstrated experience in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing in neurological disorders, progressive neurology and disablity

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to provide tailored, evidence-based interventions

Ability to manage own time and caseload

Experience working in the community

Commitment to ongoing professional devlopment and a collaborative, client-centred approach.

Services provided include working from home, telehealth, and in community settings.
