Overview

Tesla is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our service team in Chatswood, NSW. This role involves significant customer interaction and provides a basic level of technical support.

What You'll Do
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and drive-ins to address customer concerns with the highest level of responsiveness and attention.
  • Return missed phone calls and emails promptly.
  • Receive stock, pick, ship and transact materials to support the needs of vehicle service.
  • Accurately record parts transactions and data in the Dealer Management System with attention to detail.
  • Conduct transactions using systems; walk customers through orders and provide summaries.
  • Escalate issues to address inbound packaging issues from internal and external suppliers.
  • Maintain records of time, expenses and materials.
  • Communicate estimated parts ship/arrival times and provide regular updates to customers.
  • Follow up with customers on parts orders to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and help maintain the cleanliness of the service centre.
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
What You'll Bring
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
  • Understanding of basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles.
  • Experience in automotive equipment and servicing methods.
  • Experience with DMS systems, SAP, and MS Office.
  • 1-3 years' experience in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public.
  • Maintain professional integrity and appearance as a parts advisor.
  • Dealer automotive service experience is a plus.
