About the opportunity

This position involves teaching and coordinating units in pharmacy practice within the Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours program. The ideal candidate will utilize contemporary teaching techniques and technology to enhance online and face-to-face education, especially in clinical and compounding contexts.

What you'll do :

  • Contribute to the University's strategic objectives and operational responsibilities.
  • Deliver high-quality online and face-to-face teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with a focus on continuous improvement in teaching quality and student experience.
  • Apply a scholarly approach to teaching and curriculum development, aligning with the University's quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain productive links within the University, locally, nationally, and with relevant disciplines, professions, industry, and community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What we're looking for :

  • A research degree (Honours, Masters, or equivalent) in a relevant field is desirable, but exceptions may be made for individuals with exceptional professional competence, clinical skills, and experience.
  • Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Exceptions may be considered for eligible individuals.
  • Experience in pharmacy practice, especially pharmaceutical compounding.
  • Clinical expertise in contemporary pharmacy practice and the ability to contribute to discipline research.
  • Experience in teaching in workplace or university settings, including online, clinical, and face-to-face environments.

Salary details

The appointment will be at Academic Level B, with a total remuneration package up to $155,885, including a base salary of $114,766 to $133,235 and 17% superannuation.
