The Department

Alfred Health Support Services provides non-clinical support services across Alfred Health, including cleaning, parking, waste management, gardens, security, ward support, linen, food services and hospitality.

The Role

The Ancillary Assistant will work as part of the non-clinical support services team, assisting with patient and equipment transfers within the hospital, following directions from ward staff and supervisors. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and industry best practices, working closely with team members to maintain a safe and socially responsible environment.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in patient transport
  • Ability to adapt and participate in change
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training to improve skills
