Store Manager

Store Manager for Collins Booksellers at The Pines Shopping Centre, Doncaster. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for all aspects of store operations, including managing staff, delivering outstanding customer experiences, overseeing inventory and visual merchandising, and coordinating store events. The position focuses on shaping the store's identity within the community, achieving sales targets, and fostering a love of reading.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and inspire the store team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage daily store operations, including staffing, rostering, and performance management
- Oversee inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels
- Plan and execute engaging store events and community outreach
- Ensure visual merchandising is inviting and aligned with brand standards
- Achieve sales, profitability, and loss prevention goals
- Proven experience in store management (book retail experience highly regarded)
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A passion for books and a commitment to fostering a love for reading within the community
