We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified Automotive Mechanic to join our East Coast Metals Maintenance Team at Cannington Mine, Queensland.

We welcome applicants based in Townsville or Brisbane, or those open to relocating.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for providing maintenance and technical support across both mobile and fixed plant equipment.

• Perform routine servicing and repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment at site.
• Travel between designated Orica sites to support preventive maintenance and breakdown recovery.
• Offer technical maintenance advice to site-based Team Leaders and Managers.
• Monitor equipment performance, report failures, and identify areas for improvement.
• Audit critical spare parts on-site and recommend improvements.
• Utilize Orica's asset management systems, including 4S-SWM, EPDM, IBM Lotus Notes, and Outlook.
• Conduct site and equipment audits to ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
• Collaborate with a broader team of mobile technicians and mechanics supporting Orica's operations.

• Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience in a similar role;
• Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license is highly desirable.
