The Smith Family is a national children's education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.

About the role

We are seeking a Supplier Governance and Resilience Analyst to drive initiatives that fortify operational resilience and strengthen third-party supplier management. Reporting to the Business Continuity & IT Disaster Recovery lead, you will collaborate with passionate colleagues to:

  • Lead supplier assurance activities: Ensure critical suppliers meet key standards and risks are mitigated.
  • Support resilience projects: Enhance Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) through testing and implementation.
  • Be part of critical simulations: Help close action items arising from resilience exercises, such as ransomware simulations.

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Proven ability in project management or as a business analyst.
  • Expertise in workshop facilitation, problem-solving, and creating documentation (e.g. policies, processes, and plans).
  • A background in fields such as Business Management, Project Management, IT, Cyber Security, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with Third-Party Assurance, Business Continuity Planning, or IT Disaster Recovery.
