About the role

Bio Gro is looking for multiple Yard/Pickling Line Assistants to join the team at our Victorian Organics Recovery & Manufacturing Facility in Ordish Rd, Dandenong South. There are multiple shift times available, including morning and afternoon shifts. The position supports the Organics Processing Division & Site Manager in maintaining site and production performance, quality and housekeeping standards. The main component of the role involves the decontamination of organics materials received on site, conducted within a sorting cabin under cover and, in some cases, in outside conditions. We aim to decontaminate the material so that it can be sent off site for further processing into a range of gardening products. We provide PPE and Uniforms for all staff and prioritise safety. Other duties include cleaning, grounds maintenance, gardening, etc., to support efficient and safe operations of the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with decontamination of organics materials received on site (sorting cabin under cover and outdoor work as required).
  • Support site operations to maintain production performance, quality and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform cleaning, grounds maintenance, gardening and related tasks to support safe facility operations.
  • Adhere to safety, environmental and quality assurance policies.
