We are currently seeking Wireless Telecommunications Technicians to work on a variety of telecommunications projects in Victoria.

Job description:

  1. Installation and commissioning of all types of fixed and wireless network equipment
  2. Installation and commissioning of BTS equipment
  3. Equipment – assembly, erection, positioning and labelling
  4. Install, test and maintain telecommunications transmission equipment
  5. Installation and customisation of telecommunications software applications
  6. Analysis of system faults
  7. Decommissioning of old transmission equipment
  8. Completion of appropriate process documentation

Successful applicants will have the following:

  1. Telecommunications industry experience (3 – 5 years)
  2. Working at height certification
  3. Construction Industry white card
  4. RF awareness certification
  5. First aid certification
  6. Current drivers licence
  7. Demonstrated skills in fault diagnosis
  8. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, sound computing skills also required
  9. Experience with Ericsson technologies
  10. Experience with Telstra, Optus and VHA installations standards (Preferable)
  11. Transmission and Microwave experience (Preferable)
  12. Demonstrated knowledge of safe working practices

Candidates should note that the position may require interstate travel at times.
