Wireless Telecommunications Technicians

GRA Networks Australia is a leading provider of services to clients in the telecommunications industry.
We provide a range of services including design, project management and construction. We specialise in the installation, commissioning and testing of critical infrastructure.
We are currently seeking Wireless Telecommunications Technicians to work on a variety of telecommunications projects in Victoria.
Job description:
- Installation and commissioning of all types of fixed and wireless network equipment
- Installation and commissioning of BTS equipment
- Equipment – assembly, erection, positioning and labelling
- Install, test and maintain telecommunications transmission equipment
- Installation and customisation of telecommunications software applications
- Analysis of system faults
- Decommissioning of old transmission equipment
- Completion of appropriate process documentation
Successful applicants will have the following:
- Telecommunications industry experience (3 – 5 years)
- Working at height certification
- Construction Industry white card
- RF awareness certification
- First aid certification
- Current drivers licence
- Demonstrated skills in fault diagnosis
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, sound computing skills also required
- Experience with Ericsson technologies
- Experience with Telstra, Optus and VHA installations standards (Preferable)
- Transmission and Microwave experience (Preferable)
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe working practices
Candidates should note that the position may require interstate travel at times.
