The Opportunity
As a Relationship Manager within our Asset Management - Self-Directed Channel, you will play a pivotal role in driving the acquisition and management of client relationships. Your primary responsibilities include building quality relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring a robust pipeline of prospective business. This role requires a proactive sales approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will join a dynamic team of 14 professionals, split between NSW and VIC, working collaboratively to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities from existing and potential clients to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Engage proactively with investors through outbound calls, and handle inbound calls and in-person meetings as needed.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and support business growth.
- Achieve and exceed KPIs related to client engagement, business development, and retention.
About You
- Proven sales acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Market awareness to stay informed about trends and developments relevant to clients.
- Minimum three (3) years of banking/finance experience; similar experience in multi-asset funds management is highly regarded.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage clients via calls, meetings, and emails.
- Self-driven and capable of achieving outcomes independently.
- Flexible attitude with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing workloads.
- Ability to remain calm and a team player during high-pressure times.
