Are you passionate about creating a warm and welcoming dining experience? We are looking for a Kitchen Hand / Catering Assistant to join our team and help make mealtimes enjoyable for our residents. Working in a friendly, home-like environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

About Us:

Part of Lutheran Services, Trinder Park Aged Care service in Woodridge is community focused and committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents.

About The Role: In this role, you'll assist with meal preparation and cooking, ensuring food is served safely and meets dietary requirements. You'll also be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized, supporting a positive and hygienic environment. Your efforts will contribute to making each day brighter for our residents through nutritious and delicious meals.

  • Contributing to the preparation of a quality meal service
  • Delivering the residents' meal service
  • Assisting the Chef in all areas of the kitchen
  • Communicating well with co-workers, residents, and their families.

Part-time positions available, offering 30 hours per fortnight.

About You:

You will be able to show you have strong customer service and people skills. You can juggle your time and tasks well and you believe attention to detail matters.

  • Must maintain a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or Police Check as per site requirements.
  • Possess skills and experience in cooking/preparing meals, dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and utilization of commercial kitchen equipment.
