United Disability Care (UDC) provides personalised support to people living with disability across NSW, QLD, and SA. Our teams are passionate professionals dedicated to ensuring our clients live enriched lives, meet their goals, and feel supported to live their dreams. Since 1991, we have specialized in offering housing solutions and comprehensive disability support services. Our qualified staff work compassionately and personally with each client to meet their individual needs.

Role Description

We are currently seeking several part-time carers across numerous locations: Gold Coast, QLD, Tweed Heads, Brisbane South, Mid North Coast NSW and Far North Coast NSW for Support Workers. The role involves providing day-to-day assistance to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and helping them achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring safety and safeguarding. Additionally, Support Workers will participate in Inspired Day programs and help facilitate community participation for clients.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Support Work and related responsibilities
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to provide emotional support
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding practices and procedures
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Basic Technical Support and competency
  • Ability to work compassionately and independently
  • Experience in disability support or mental health care is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or training in disability care or a related field - Cert 3 or higher would be adventegous
