About the Role

Sydney Dental Hospital (SDH) has been serving the local community since 1904. The Hospital is a centre of excellence and throughout its history has been a key driver in shaping oral health and dental care in Australia.

The Dental Assistant will provide skilled assistance to the clinician in the rostered clinic to ensure an efficient and effectively managed clinic.Critical and Intergraded Care Dentistry department is a referral centre concerned with the oral health care of adults who present with disabilities. Our aim is to provide accessible dental services in an equitable and respectful manner to persons with disabilities.

Ideal Candidate

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or qualifications deemed by the NSW Department of Health to be equivalent or experience & willingness to undertake formal qualifications
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Demonstrated understanding of work health safety requirements
