Myer is seeking an experienced technology professional for the role of GM Technology - Supply Chain & Distribution. This senior leadership position will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, fostering innovation, and optimizing performance across the global supply chain, distribution, sourcing, and safety network for the Myer group.

About the role :

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams and manage change effectively.
  • Oversee diverse project and delivery resources (onshore/offshore).
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through negotiation and requirement clarification.
  • Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain prioritized technology roadmaps for Supply Chain & Distribution.
  • Execute technology business plans supporting Supply Chain & Distribution.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and performance.
  • Oversee technology change management and governance.
  • Assess and mitigate technology risks across platforms and third-party providers.
  • Ensure delivery of IT services across supply chain and distribution platforms.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations in the supply chain and distribution sector.

About you :

  • 10-15+ years in senior IT leadership roles, with experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, and Sourcing technologies, preferably in Retail or FMCG sectors. Global experience is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of robotic automation technologies.
  • Proven leadership in managing diverse teams and leading change.
  • Strong understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies.
  • Qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields are desirable.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2 are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in budget management, business case development, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
