The Role – Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Juniper is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team at Juniper Central in Balcatta.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support operational and executive stakeholders. You'll play a key role in driving financial insights and performance across Juniper's Residential, Community, Retirement Living, and Corporate Services divisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across multiple service streams
2. Deliver timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance insights to senior stakeholders
3. Provide scenario modelling and strategic financial analysis to support investment and operational decisions
4. Develop and monitor KPIs to assess financial health and drive accountability
5. Act as a trusted advisor to directors, executives, and operational leaders
6. Support service delivery, cost management, and revenue optimisation through financial guidance
7. Lead financial reviews to identify risks and opportunities aligned with strategic goals
8. Enhance financial literacy and decision-making across the organisation
9. Ensure compliance with financial policies, aged care regulations, and funding requirements
10. Support audits, financial controls, and risk management processes
11. Oversee reconciliations, funding submissions, and cost allocations across business units
12. Drive improvements in financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency
13. Collaborate with ICT and finance teams to leverage technology and automation
14. Analyse data to support efficient resource use and cost optimisation
15. Develop financial models for capital planning and funding applications
16. Lead and mentor a high-performing FP&A team
17. Foster collaboration between finance and operational teams to deliver strategic outcomes

Experience

• Proven experience in aged care, healthcare, or community services, ideally within a regulated financial environment
• Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis, particularly in nonprofit or compliance-heavy industries
• Experience in maintaining financial compliance and implementing auditor recommendations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and funding agencies
• Solid understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks relevant to the aged care or health sector

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CA qualification highly desirable
• Familiarity with aged care regulations, including Aged Care Quality Standards and funding models
