Your New Role
As Operations Manager, your role will involve aligning people, systems, and processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across key business functions you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the factory.
You'll collaborate closely with the Leadership team to handle delivery support, internal coordination, finance and reporting, resource planning, and compliance. You'll play a crucial role in driving the company's next phase of growth, creating a strong operational foundation that supports scaling without sacrificing quality or culture.

As the Operations Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the factory. As part of the leadership team, you'll collaborate across the business, guiding and inspiring others to meet customer needs, drive improvements, and maintain ISO9001 compliance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager seeking a new challenge within a supportive and high recognised company.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing Management, combined with a solid background in production or operations management within a complex, engineered-to-order, or customized manufacturing environment.
You approach everything with a hands-on, detail-focused mindset, and excel as a leader in the manufacturing sector, specializing in improving delivery performance, streamlining operations, and guiding cross-functional teams. Renowned for coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills, encourage accountability, and promote continuous improvement, you foster trust and create high-performing teams where employees truly enjoy working.
Prepare and oversee manufacturing budgets, conduct forecasting, and support the development of financial strategies for the manufacturing department.
Strong quality control and assurance, effective management of self and supplier performance, efficient dispatch and logistics, and seamless coordination with purchasing for material supply are all crucial.
Continuous improvement, OH&S, industrial relations, compliance, and change management are all key factors for achieving success.
Oversee, organize, and track manufacturing operations while prioritizing enhanced customer satisfaction.
Implement sustainable lean and visual manufacturing techniques.
Review capacity of production facility in line with sales forecasts and make
recommendations as required.
A natural change-maker who is engaging, supportive, and fosters teamwork, seamlessly crafting and aligning a vision while instinctively bringing it to fruition.
Offer coaching and training to enhance the skills and boost the confidence of staff in the manufacturing and supply departments.
Completed qualifications in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain, or possess equivalent industry-relevant manufacturing experience.
Over five years of experience overseeing factory and plant operations in the manufacturing sector.
Broad experience in production management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
Proven ability to enhance organizational efficiency and manage business operations effectively.
A strong understanding of technology in a manufacturing environment.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and various manufacturing software applications
