Overview: The Breakfast Attendant provides exceptional service to guests in the breakfast area, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and seating guests promptly
  • Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of menus and service areas
  • Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables and hotel spaces
  • Stocking and organizing service areas
  • Handling guest requests and offering alternatives
  • Communicating with departments about VIP guests
  • Supporting beverage and food service, including cleaning and restocking
  • Knowing service standards for room service orders
  • Understanding menus and specials
  • Performing cashiering duties and closing procedures
  • Answering guest inquiries about the hotel and local attractions
  • Producing quality drinks as required

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Willingness to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Legal age to serve alcohol and passing responsible serving certification (e.g., TIPs)
  • Food Handlers card as required
  • Ability to evaluate situations quickly and calmly
  • Understanding of hotel services and guest relations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Positive attitude and service orientation
  • Basic food and beverage knowledge
  • Numerical ability and basic reading/writing skills
  • Patience, tact, and diplomacy in customer interactions
  • Willingness to learn and support team members
