Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join our team full-time at the Animal Referral Hospital in Wollongong. This position involves a unique co-location arrangement with the General Practice clinic to deliver top-notch Emergency care and veterinary expertise to the Wollongong and greater Illawarra region.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in the General Practice clinic.
  • Deliver compassionate client communication and veterinary care to pets and their families.
Qualifications
  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in New South Wales (NSW).
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
  • Highly desirable prior experience in emergency veterinary care.
  • Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate empathy in high-pressure situations.
  • Effective communication skills with peers, pet owners, and referring veterinarians.
  • Strong passion for helping animals and their owners during times of need.
