What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Accounting or similar discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in end-to-end accounting
• Solid understanding of payroll processes and AASB accounting standards
• Strong Excel skills with a solid analytical mindset
• Effective time management and ability to meet competing priorities
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude
  
  

As a Finance Officer/ Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Process end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis (approx. 50 staff)
• Handle payroll variances and prepare supporting commentary for reporting
• Perform monthly account reconciliations
• Support the Finance Manager with reconciliations, write-offs, accruals and journal entries
• Help manage follow-ups and escalations from accounts payable and receivable officer
• Assist in streamlining and improving finance processes and workflows
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
• Provide general finance admin support as required
