DTF are the lead agency within South Australia for economic, digital and financial policy outcomes. DTF plays a vital role in providing financial services to the community and economic and fiscal policy advice to the Government of South Australia.

About the Role

As South Australia's Government Chief Information Officer, you will lead the State's digital, cyber security and technology agenda. This senior executive role is responsible for setting whole-of-government strategy, overseeing digital infrastructure and service delivery, and leading the State's response to cyber and telecommunications crises.

You will represent South Australia in national and interjurisdictional forums and drive innovation in emerging technologies, including AI, data and digital platforms that support a more secure and connected government.

You are an accomplished leader with:

  • Deep expertise in ICT, digital transformation and cyber security.
  • Proven success leading complex portfolios and high-performing teams
  • Experience in strategic policy and governance at a whole-of-government level
  • Exceptional communication skills and the presence to influence at the highest levels
  • The ability to collaborate across jurisdictions, industry and government.
