Brief Description

Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for multiple Security Relief Officers to provide excellent customer service and emergency response to our retail sites across Wagga Wagga. Successful officers will be trained at multiple sites to work up to full-time hours, with initial focus on sites close to staff residential addresses, where possible.

You will receive a flexible part-time or full-time roster for more work-life balance. Compensation includes award-based rates, along with Relieving Officer and First Aid Allowances at applicable sites. The benefit for successful applicants of being trained across multiple assets creates the opportunity to build your experience and knowledge as a Security Officer, opening doors for career progression into senior roles.

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Providing a high level of security and customer service duties.
  • Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling assigned premises.
  • Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support.
  • Assess and respond to situations of risk.
  • Access control.
  • Incident report writing and data logs.

Pay Rate & Availability

  • Part-time or full-time hours available
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 5-6 day or night shifts per fortnight
  • SSIA level 2-5 rates available + applicable loadings, penalties + super
  • Weekly Reliever allowance: $43.56 per week
  • First aid allowance: $7.09 per shift
  • Saturday rate: up to $43.17 per hour
  • Sunday & overtime rate: up to $57.56 per hour
  • Public holiday rate: up to $71.95 per hour.
