About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Building Project Officer to play a key role in the planning, coordination, and management of building projects. Working closely with internal departments, external contractors, and stakeholders, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the scoping and design of building capital works projectsPrepare documentation and plans to enable smooth project deliveryCollaborate with internal teams and external consultants to refine project briefsAssist in managing projects through delivery stages, ensuring compliance and qualityContribute to continuous improvement of the capital works cycle

About the person

The successful candidate should have the following.

Tertiary qualifications in Building Design, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in scoping, designing, and delivering building projectsStrong understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, procurement, and complianceFamiliarity with local government capital works programs or public infrastructure projects (desirable)Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

We are offering an attractive total remuneration of $91,988 to $105,786 plus super.
