Osborne Richardson is excited to present two Biodiversity Planning roles in Brisbane, with a reputable client, the City of Moreton Bay. These roles offer excellent career growth opportunities and are initially contract positions for 6 months, with prospects for long-term or permanent employment.

As a Principal or Senior Biodiversity Planner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical expertise and leading complex environmental and biodiversity planning projects.
  • Offering expert advice aligned with legislative and policy requirements.
  • Managing project teams, including external consultants, to achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Developing team capabilities to foster high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Contributing technical expertise to strategy and policy development.
  • Facilitating community consultations and representing the Council at forums.
  • Possessing a current "C" Class Driver's Licence.
  • Acting as a key delegate and providing professional advice to stakeholders.

Candidates should review the following key criteria:

  • Relevant degree qualification.
  • Experience in biodiversity or environmental planning, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage time-critical environments with diverse stakeholder interests.
  • Strong project management and risk assessment skills.
  • Expertise in relevant legislation and planning principles.
  • Excellent communication skills for complex concepts.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement.
