What You Will Bring To The Role

• Fully registered psychologist with a Masters degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or related area recognized by the employer. Postgraduate qualifications must be no less than two years full-time and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement.
• Substantial postgraduate clinical experience and specialist knowledge in child and adolescent mental health, with experience in evidence-based psychotherapies.
• Ability to conduct psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment and care formulation to inform tailored care planning.
• Knowledge and skills for working with family systems to improve health outcomes for children and young people.
• Understanding of childhood trauma, child protection and related psychosocial challenges in child and youth mental health.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including case formulation, care planning and diagnostic reports; strong time management and ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to professional development and knowledge of quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
