Collins Street Specialist Centre, located in the heart of Melbourne, is bringing together under one roof the full range of dental specialists– general dentists, registered specialists and dental hygienists. Collins Street Specialist Centredoes away with the need for patients to spend time, energy and funds in going from one practice to another to receive all of the various treatments under one roof.
We are a multidisciplinary practice, home to 80 practitioners, 14 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, paediatrics and prosthodontics.
Job DescriptionThe opportunity:
An exciting opportunity is availableto join our successful Specialist Centre as a specialist Dental Assistant on a full-time basis. This position will work closely with our specialist Paediatric Dentists as well as having the opportunity to work alongside a vast array of our multidisciplinary team.
What you need for this role:
- 3+ years' experience in dental assisting.
- Demonstrated experience or a strong desire to work in paediatrics.
- Excellent knowledge of sterilisation and maintaining high standards of infection control.
- Conduct accurate charting to support patient treatment plans.
- Knowledge of D4W preferred but not essential.
- A highlevel of initiative and motivation.
- A drive to learn and flourish.
- The ability to integrate into a large practice.
