Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Lake Mary Hospital, the newest addition to the Orlando Health family.

  • Hospital opened in January 2025
  • Annual projected deliveries of 1,000 with an ADC in the newborn nursery of 6-7
  • Level II NICU projected ADC of 5-6 by year end, with 2,000 deliveries and 24/7 coverage
  • Team of neonatologists, NNPs, and Pediatric Hospitalists
  • Neonatologist onsite 8 hours daily and will take call from home
  • Must be within a 30-minute on-call response radius
  • NNP schedule of 12- and 24-hour shifts
  • Supported by the Orlando Health flagship NICU located at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a 142-bed, Level-IV NICU

  • Lake Mary Hospital opened in January 2025
  • 124-bed hospital with a focus on women's health, including labor and delivery services and a future neonatal intensive care unit

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
  • Minimum of a master's degree
