Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

Clough currently has an opportunity for an additional Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on Project Ceres, based in Perth. In this role, you will develop, and oversee the implementation and maintenance of electrical systems and components for various projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and the ability to apply them to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical systems, as long as a deep knowledge of Australian Standards.

Your focus will include:

  • Ability to design and interpret electrical system studies and define key risks.
  • Monitor procurement, provision, and execution of equipment, materials, and services to align with design and project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards (AS) and other relevant regulations throughout the project lifecycle together with relevant health and safety regulations, good industry practice and engineering standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the project lifecycle.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, in OEM, EPC, or lump-sum construction, particularly within the oil & gas and energy industries, with exposure to fertilizer projects highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards (AS), and local building regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with contractors and final client.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and budgets.
