Muswellbrook Shire Council, Australia Workfast Full time

Workfast is looking for experienced Trade Assistants who are Glencore Inducted with EWP and WAH tickets to work in Muswellbrook, NSW.

The work involves various tasks including construction, maintenance, civil, infrastructure, and general labouring, often around heavy machinery. Responsibilities include assisting tradespeople, general labouring, and working with tools.

What you get

  • Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3 pm
  • $36.00 - $38.00/hr + Penalties + Super (depending on experience)
  • Location: Muswellbrook, NSW
  • Ongoing work with potential for permanent placement

What you need

  • Glencore Inducted
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • White Card
  • Working at Heights Ticket (WAH)
  • EWP
  • Construction and trade assistant experience
  • Own reliable transportation
  • Experience working on tools
  • Ability to work alongside tradesmen
  • Understanding levels
  • Use of laser levels
  • Heavy lifting ability

What you will be doing

  • Using hand & power tools and equipment
  • Civil construction works
  • General site maintenance
  • Working in a team and independently
  • Following safety protocols
  • Working around machinery
  • Spotting machines (if experienced)
  • Following supervisor and manager instructions
