Do you like working in a leisure environment and teaching kids aquatic safety? We are currently seeking a new Swim Programs Instructor and if you have these skills this might be your chance to rewrite the future with us.

Responsibilities
  • Engage and inspire participants of all ages through high-quality swim programs.
  • Foster strong relationships within the community to encourage a positive swimming experience.
  • Permanent part time role working 15 hours per week predominantly afternoons.
  • The Swim Programs Instructor is a key player in delivering swim programs that cater to diverse groups within the community. This role involves not only teaching swimming skills but also ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. You will work closely with the Crew Leader to implement lesson plans and track progress while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Your responsibilities will include preparing lessons, explaining program benefits to potential customers, and continuously monitoring the safety and well-being of all participants.
Qualifications
  • Current AUSTSWIM qualification or equivalent in swimming and water safety.
  • Valid CPR certificate and Working with Children Check clearance.
  • Experience in delivering swim programs and collaborating in a team setting.
Employment details
  • Permanent part time role available; 15 hours per week, afternoons; rotating roster Monday - Sunday 7am - 7pm; penalty rates apply for weekend work.
  • Salary up to $32.06 per hour, with progression to up to $37.15 per hour after assessment, plus 12% superannuation.
  • Location: Peninsula Leisure Centre.
