We are looking for a great IT infrastructure engineer (Network).

In the position of Network Engineer, you will be working with and supporting other network engineers and are responsible for supporting the ongoing operation and maintenance of the affiliate's networks in the ANZ region, as well as the design, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of customer networks, both wired and wireless. You will be interacting with both internal and external clients to implement, support and maintain network infrastructure.

Technical Tasks/Responsibilities

• Key responsible for managing network infrastructure tasks across Affiliates (+4 sites) of Hyundai Motor Group in Australia and New Zealand
• Planning/Operation/Management of Network Infrastructure (OA/Firewall/Wired/Wireless/VPN) and Handling of circuit problems through ISP
• Administration of IT operational requests from Affiliates in Australia & New Zealand
• Manage network Projects/Tasks
• Ensuring documentation is complete and up to date
• Maintain a positive relationship with internal and external stakeholders to establish a client-focused culture

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software, IT, Electric or related fields
• 3+ to 10 years of experience in network operations
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, Switching/Routing, and other network-specific knowledge and planning abilities
• Ability to design, deploy, and manage networks in medium to large-scale enterprises, with project experience
• Experience and knowledge in network security (Firewall and Security Solutions)
• Business travel required across Sydney area or abroad in New Zealand
• An Australian driving license with a good record and relevant experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers, partners, and the Head office in South Korea (Korean speaking is essential)
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, manage, and prioritize a varied workload
• Candidates must provide evidence of the right to work in Australia
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience operating networks in large-scale enterprises or IDC environments
• Knowledge and experience in both wired and wireless networking
• Experience in network configuration analysis, diagnosis, and consulting on improvement strategies
• Possession of Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) or relevant network-related certifications
