About the company:

About your new role:
As the Network Engineer you will play a key role in planning, designing, developing, and supporting local area networks and wide area networks across the organisation.

Your Responsibilities will include:

1. Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks including routers, hubs, and switches.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures.
3. Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
4. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
5. Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
6. Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
7. Participate in managing all network security solutions and security audits.

About your knowledge and experience:

1. Degree preferred in IT coupled with Industry accreditations in Cisco and ITIL.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco networking infrastructure covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
3. Strong experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto Firewalls and applicable management tools such as Cisco Security Manager (CSM).
4. Proficient in writing policies and procedures and other support documentation.
5. Good understanding of IT infrastructure and service management practices.
