Reporting to the Regional Segment Manager - The Business Developer role will see you will create strategies and lead their execution to increase sales from the accounts based on commercial relationship and technical specifications within Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with Engineering background working within the Oil & Gas industry and ready to take the next step.What does the role involve?The key responsibilities include:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's footprint in onshore & offshoremarket.
- Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Operators, EPCs, and contractors to understand their needs and project requirements.
- Strategic Sales Approach: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with industry trends, market demands, and company objectives.
- Project Management: Track major projects from early design stages to procurement and execution, ensuring the company is well-positioned to supply solutions.
- Technical Consultation: Provide technical and commercial support, collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- At least 5 years prior experience in direct technical business selling preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Engineering Degree
- Able to carry themselves professionally to build relationships at different levels – C-suite and operations level executives, as well as with internal stakeholders
- Must be comfortable travelling domestically for work
- Demonstrated strong sense of achievement in their line of work
- Comfortable working independently and proactive in reaching out when in need of support
