Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will offer assistance in designing and conceptualising the entire system. This includes evaluating processes, analysing business requirements, creating functional designs, overseeing development, and providing user support. Additionally, you will facilitate the exchange of information between the business and technical departments, collaborating closely with technical teams to improve system requirements. We have a hybrid approach to work, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

Responsibilities
  • Guides and supports the development of work specifications, ensuring clarity, shared understanding, and alignment with team goals.
  • Works collaboratively to deliver projects on time and within budget, with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Develops clear and thorough specifications for developers and testers by understanding user needs, exploring potential solutions, engaging with stakeholders, defining acceptance criteria, and conducting impact analysis—working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Builds and nurtures strong client relationships, focusing on long-term satisfaction and trust.
  • Designs thoughtful and user-friendly processes and interfaces that enhance the overall experience and promote usability.
  • Brings a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to problem-solving, with a practical and innovative approach to challenges.
  • Maintains open and regular communication with management, stakeholders, and the development team, aligned with the SCRUM framework.
  • Helps reduce roadblocks arising from system design constraints or pending business decisions to support steady progress.
  • Contributes to the successful delivery of high-impact projects, aligning outcomes with agreed priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree, along with experience in a business analyst role
  • A well-rounded understanding of financial markets, accounting practices, organisational processes, and ideally some familiarity with legal and tax frameworks
  • Strong analytical and design capabilities, with a collaborative approach to solving technical challenges in enterprise application development
  • Experience working within Agile environments, contributing to iterative and team-driven development
  • Clear and effective communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal—with the ability to build consensus and foster shared understanding
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced or changing environments, while maintaining a solutions-focused mindset and supporting team outcomes
