The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Practitioner Consultant to join our team in providing outstanding service to our valued customers.

Based in Sydney, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on building genuine relationships and is comfortable with regular travel to regional areas to meet customer needs. You'll manage an established customer base while actively growing new business within your assigned territory. Your ability to educate and inspire practitioners about our products will play a key role in their success and ours.

Your deep understanding of herbal medicine, paired with your warm and engaging communication style, will allow you to truly connect with practitioners and add real value to their clinical work.

Ideally, this role sees you working 4 days per week on the road, managing a territory that includes Sydney and surrounding regions. The role also involves reoccurring travel to the South Coast, ACT, and nearby regional areas. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential. There will be allocated time per month for administration allowing you to work from home.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports

Building brand awareness of HEC products through regular practitioner engagement

Managing and developing relationships with wholesalers, industry bodies and key influencers

Reviewing growth opportunities and developing strategies for new customers

Attending trade shows, conferences and educational events

Organising and delivering seminars, training and presentations

Using customer insights to identify market trends and propose solutions

Collaborating on sales collateral and marketing content

Liaising with Customer Service to ensure smooth order processing

Participating in team planning sessions and meetings

Proactively managing customer feedback and concerns

Identifying opportunities to grow market share

About You

You'll be both technically skilled and people-focused — a qualified herbalist or naturopath with strong clinical knowledge and a genuine passion for herbal medicine. Your ability to listen, understand and offer meaningful solutions will be key to your success in this role.

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a relevant qualification in Herbal Medicine or Naturopathy

Has strong communication and time management skills

Is confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders

Demonstrates attention to detail and creative thinking

Brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Has sound business development and analytical skills

Is proficient with Microsoft Office

Holds a current driver's licence and is comfortable with travel
