We are currently recruiting a Rotating Engineer (TST / Maintenance Planning) to join Woodside Energy's KGP team on an 18-month contract.

In this role, you will have an excellent opportunity to enhance your production engineering and planning skills and experience. You will work in a multi-discipline team developing effective, fit-for-purpose, and executable solutions to address asset risks in a prioritized manner, with frequent collaboration opportunities across KGP.

Duties & Responsibilities:As a Rotating Engineer – Working with the Technical Support Team (TST):
  • Lead complex OPEX and CAPEX modifications to reduce safety, environmental, regulatory, and financial risks to ALARP.
  • Provide technical input into HAZOP / LOPA workshops, ART forums, FP investigations, and respond to engineering queries.
  • Manage external service providers for multidiscipline projects, including scope definition, budget approval, assurance reviews, and schedule tracking.
  • Support frontline engineering through assessments, investigations, emergent scopes, and backfill during leave or turnarounds.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver practical engineering solutions and support planning engineering via maintenance strategies, procedure updates, and queries.
As a Rotating Engineer – Working with the Planning Team:
  • Apply technical judgment to select rotating work for maintenance campaigns and support planned activities, including MOCs and STC workpacks.
  • Contribute to Capex projects, PSRA remediation, and optimization of maintenance strategies aligned with ARP.
  • Respond to engineering queries, screen Maintenance Notifications, and manage Safety & Environmental Critical Elements per WM1040PF9809289.
  • Assist with incident investigations per WM0000PG9905421 and identify improvements from the Execution Engineering Team feedback.
  • Provide backfill support for KGP Frontline and Execution Teams for rotating engineering coverage.
Skills & Experience:
  • Degree in Mechanical / Rotating Engineering.
  • Achieved "ENG" competency as per Engineering Management Procedure WM0000PG10109352.
  • Achieved, or capable of achieving, PSM Knowledge Level Competency per WM0000PG10588246.
