Bennett + Bennett is seeking an experienced and motivated Spatial Surveyor to deliver high-accuracy 3D survey solutions using mobile laser scanning (MLS) technology. Based in our Brisbane or Gold Coast office, this full-time role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, contribute to innovation in spatial workflows, and support the continued evolution of our Spatial capability.

Your Role and Impact

As a specialist within our Spatial team, you'll contribute to our mission to foster industry leaders in Geospatial data acquisition and Data Enablement. You'll play a key role in the delivery of high-resolution 3D data products, using MLS technologies to support a wide range of infrastructure, urban, and digital engineering projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project Execution – Plan and deliver mobile laser scanning surveys across diverse environments, ensuring high-quality data capture and alignment with client requirements.
• Data Processing & Modelling – Register, clean, and extract value from point cloud data to support BIM integration, spatial analysis, and digital engineering workflows.
• Software Expertise – Use tools such as PosPac, the RIEGL suite, Cyclone 3DR, CAD, 12D and BIM applications to process and model spatial data into accurate, client-ready outputs.
• Workflow Contribution – Assist in refining MLS methodologies and contributing to improvements in data accuracy, efficiency, and field-to-finish delivery.
• Team Collaboration – Work closely with Project Managers, Survey Team Leaders, and Digital Engineers to ensure project goals and deliverables are met.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience in spatial or survey roles with a focus on mobile laser scanning or 3D survey workflows
• Strong technical skills in MLS data acquisition, registration, processing, and modelling
• Proficiency with RIEGL environments, 12d, or other spatial software is highly desirable.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
• Collaborative mindset and clear communication style for working across technical and non-technical teams
• Tertiary qualifications in Surveying, Spatial Science, or a related field are preferred
