We're seeking a Staffing Specialist passionate about employee experience, customer service, and contributing to a supportive, dynamic team where you can learn, grow, and make an impact.

About The Role

As a HR/Staffing Specialist, you'll provide end-to-end support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring clients and employees receive exceptional service. From onboarding and HR queries to managing Zendesk tickets and milestone care calls, you'll play a key role in supporting workers and building client confidence.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role where no two days are the same. You'll need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in balancing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on employee and client care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a positive employee experience across the full worker lifecycle.
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding including contracts, compliance checks, and inductions.
  • Manage and resolve Zendesk request tickets from employees, clients, and internal teams within service levels.
  • Conduct milestone client and worker care calls to flag concerns, capture feedback, and build strong relationships.
  • Assist employees with HR queries relating to policies, awards, leave entitlements, and payroll.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate employee documentation and records.
  • Escalate complex matters to HR, payroll, or legal while maintaining ownership of the employee experience.
  • Contribute to reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement projects.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous experience in HR, recruitment, or staffing operations.
  • Experience using Zendesk or similar ticketing/customer support platforms preferred.
  • Confident in conducting check-in calls with employees and clients.
  • Knowledge of basic HR processes, worker entitlements, and onboarding best practice.
  • Experience using HRIS systems (highly regarded).
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail.
