This rewarding role involves supporting adults with disabilities to engage in community activities. You may work one-on-one or in groups, mainly in the community, and occasionally in clients' homes. Your tasks may include:

• Supporting clients to work towards their goals
• Facilitating recreation and social activities
• Assisting with shopping, appointments, and events
• Engaging in meaningful opportunities and relationships
• Providing daily living and personal care, including meal prep, hygiene, and mobility assistance

About You

We seek passionate individuals with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. You should share Yooralla's values and demonstrate:

• A positive approach, initiative, and self-motivation
• A commitment to empowering clients and upholding quality and safety standards
• Effective communication skills and good English literacy
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
• Willingness to support clients with personal care activities
• Australian Driver Licence
• The right to work in Australia
• Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certification if not already held

A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant experience, or an interest in community services is desirable. If you lack these, don't worry—Yooralla offers excellent training and support, including opportunities to work and study. Transferable skills are also valuable.

You will be subject to an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
