Overview

The Organisational Development ("OD") Chapter Area enhances organisational effectiveness and culture through our people experiences, processes and systems. As an OD Lead in our OD Chapter Area, you will lead the design and development, implementation, and enhancement of people experiences, processes and systems. Working in the Strategic Workforce Planning Skills-Led Career squad, this role will enable the integration, activation and embedding of skills-led career practices across the Group. You'll work at the intersection of organisational development, capability uplift, and career enablement — empowering our people to shape their careers through skills, not just roles.

On any given day you will:

  • Design and deliver skills-based career frameworks and tools for the Group.
  • Champion initiatives that foster a culture of continuous learning, career mobility, and inclusive growth opportunities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to align our career architecture with business priorities, ensuring our frameworks are adaptable and future-focused.
  • Collaborate with HR Tech and Learning teams to support the delivery of the skills-led technology roadmap.
  • Use data to measure adoption, impact, and improvement opportunities.
  • Co-design immersive experiences that bring skills-led concepts to life.
  • Influence strategic workforce planning through skills visibility and capability mapping.
  • Utilise AI tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging practices to keep our skills-led approach innovative and market-relevant.

Qualifications
  • Have experience in organisational development, capability uplift, strategic workforce planning and/or career enablement and are adept in using systems thinking, human-centred design, and other problem-solving methodologies.
  • Leverage your critical thinking and data analysis and insights skills to get to the root cause of problems and identify recommendations.
  • Bring experience working in matrixed environments and agile ways of working.
  • Have worked with skills frameworks, talent marketplaces, or career platforms (e.g. Workday, Degreed).
